David will assist you every step of the way to make this adventure as fun and enjoyable as possible. Homes are unique to their Owners, your input and ideas are very important in this process. This is a brief description of some of the steps it takes to build your DREAM HOME.

Let's begin with some basics.

  • An idea, sketch or a plan. 
  • Cost estimate from Brookshire Homes.
  • Construction Loan.
  • Close on property to build on.                                                      
  • Break ground or prepare ground for your Home.                                    
  • Dig and pour the footing and stem wall.         

 

  • Install plumbing and Healthy Way system.  

 

  • Install re-bar and pour concrete slab floor.       
  • Erect frame and roof.
  • Install electrical, plumbing, air conditioning and heating. 
  • Insulate walls.
  • Wrap Home with thermal wrap.                        
  • Brick and rock. 
  • Sheetrock and texture walls and ceilings.
  • Tile
  • Build cabinets and trim Home.
  • Stain and paint.
  • Plumbing Fixtures.                                                                                
  • Air conditioning and heating units.
  • Electric and Light fixtures.    
  • Carpet.
  • Driveways and sidewalks.
  • Sprinkler system.
  • Landscaping and sod.
  • Fence.
  • Close on Home.
